🗼 Stewardship of the Nambi Sanctuary

Hire a dedicated ranger team to safeguard the Sanctuary and its endangered species as part of our climate resilience strategy while expanding the biological corridor that is home to 4 out of 5 mangrove species in Costa Rica, along with dozens of endangered animals, including the American crocodile, whose population is rapidly declining.

🛰️ Digital Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (dMRV)

Invest in a digital Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (dMRV) system that will monitor the environmental conditions, vegetation status, and CO₂ absorption of the land through dMRV technology. dMRV helps filling the data gap by providing on-the-ground data such as biomass, water quality, species density, and other ecological indicators, measuring the physical attributes of the ecosystem, which can then be linked to socioeconomic valuation models.

Invest strategically in comprehensive studies and certifications conducted and issued by renowned environmental organizations. These authoritative validations not only enhance the credibility and transparency of the project but also help it accrue tangible, measurable value.

Develop global awareness initiatives through media outreach, press engagement, and strategic communications aimed at influencing policy reform. These efforts will emphasize the economic and tourism-related benefits of positioning Costa Rica as a country committed to responsible and efficient waste processing.

Launch our own metaverse experience where users can visualize the token’s impact and actively engage with the Nambi Sanctuary.

🔬 Build our scientific research hub

Located adjacent to the Nambi Sanctuary, our facility will foster global scientific collaboration by attracting PhD-level researchers and prestigious institutions.

🌊 Cleaning and regenerating the Tárcoles River basin

We will restore affected tributaries, reforest riverbanks to reduce erosion and filter agrochemicals, and collect plastic before it reaches the ocean, surrounding beaches and mangroves by installing a system similar to those developed by the Ocean Cleanup or Trash Whell.

♻️ Establish a permanent waste sorting & distribution facility

Intercept plastic and waste from upstream before it reaches the Guacalillo Mangrove or the Pacific Ocean, processing and repurposing it for industrial and commercial applications. Transforming waste into opportunity provides green employment and fosters environmental stewardship through educational initiatives.

🏕️ Build eco-infrastructure from repurposed waste

Enhance the Nambi Sanctuary's touristic infrastructure facilities by installing trails, docks, and towers built using trash collected from the river—a model of circular economy in action.
